What is a vintage watch?
There is no international standard that defines a vintage watch. Our definition of a vintage watch is any watch over 25 years.
What is a Pre-owned watch?
We define a pre-owned watch as a watch that was built in the last 25 years, not old enough to be vintage.
How are you able to sell your watches at a lower price?
Wimbledon Watches is an internet business, we do not have big advertising budgets or expensive shops to maintain and we try and keep our overheads as low as possible. This allows Wimbledon Watches to sell the finest Swiss watches at affordable watches.
Do you provide a warranty?
All our watches are fully tested in our workshop before the watch is listed. Wimbledon Watches provides a full 12 month warranty on all our mens and womens vintage and pre-owned watches.
Who owns Wimbledon Watches?
Wimbledon Watches is a family business and run by Craig and Lucy who both have a passion for watches.
Craig says ‘I was lucky enough to receive a Omega Seamaster for my 21st birthday and I was hooked! I admire the craftsmanship and passion that goes into creating a watch.’
Lucy and Craig both believe the reason Wimbledon Watches has become a success is because they are both passionate about watches of all eras. Lucy says ‘we want to be able to pass this enthusiasm on to all our customers and make sure they have a positive experience and enjoy the watches they buy from us.’
Do you post worldwide?
Yes we are happy to ship anywhere in the world. Wimbledon Watches use Royal Mail International Signed For Delivery, which is a fast, secure service, including insurance and requires a signature on arrival.

What happens if I don’t like the watch?
No problem Wimbledon Watches have a 100% refund policy, if you are not happy with your watch for any reason, just let us know within seven days and we will provide you with a full refund.
How do I know the watch is authentic?
A member of the British Horological Institute (Founded in 1858 to promote Education, Standards and Support in Clock and Watch Making, Repairing and Servicing) we abide by the Institutes Code of Practice.

Can I part exchange?
Yes we are happy to discuss a part exchange on any of our watches, we may have to say no to an exchange depending on the watch brand you are looking to exchange and our stock levels. Simply email us with the details of the watch you are interested in and the watch you would like to part exchange.

Wimbledon Watches buy all our watches through trusted partners and all watches are checked for authenticity and movements tested for timekeeping before listing.
